LE CERCLE FRANÇAIS
BY-LAWS
The purpose of the Cercle Français is to develop a cultural awareness of other people & their influence on our way of life & to promote the continuing study of the French language. Fund raising is conducted year round & each member must participate. The funds will be used to benefit travel, extended field trips, or other activities. The Cercle Français hosts different cultural events throughout the year, when possible. The club is open to any past or present foreign language student, as well as other Grace King students with a minimum 2.0 GPA and no referrals or suspensions for severe or chronic behavioral problems as determined by the sponsor. Each member must be involved in community service work accumulating at least 10 hours per year & will elect officers from members in good standing consisting of: president, vice-president, secretary, treasurer, & historian. The members will be required to attend a minimum of 80% of all meetings & activities (no more than 1 or 2 meetings)
