Pick up 09'-10' Yearbook!
Graduates from last year can now pick up last years yearbook! Come see Mrs. Lampo on Monday and Wednesday from 3:00pm to 4:30pm at this time to recieve them. Please check back reguaraly because more times will be posted.

Social Studies Winners!
Grace King would like to thank all the participants in the Socal Studies Fair this year! We would also like to give a personal thanks to everyone who placed:
Abbas Syed got Honnorable Mention in Anthropology.
Anqwin Kitponsong, Jun Li, Chanakya Vattikuti got First Place in Economics.
Huy Vu & Danny Cheung got Third Place in Anthropology.
MA Dance Competition
In the Kolleens MA Dance Competition is this past Saturday, they receieved a Super Sweepstakes trophy with a score of 90 and above in their team dances. They receieved the choreography, technique, and high point awards for their team kick, prop, and pom dances. The Kolleens received the highest score in the entire competition.
Marissa, Shakira, and Kayla got 1st runner up for their trio in the 9th-10th category.
Destiny, Emily, and Jacqueline got 1st place for their 10th-12th trio.
Destiny and Marissa received 1st place for their duet.
Solo- 9th and 10th grade:
Jacqueline - 4th runner up
Emily - 2nd runner up
Destiny - 1st place champion
Solo - 11th and 12th grade:
Norma - 4th runner up
Kelsey - 3rd runner up
Megan - 1st place champion
The officers recieved a Superior trophy and the choreography award for their jazz dance. The Kolleens recived the winner circle cup for the small team champions, congratulations Kolleens!
Congratulations Kolleens
The Grace King Kolleens competed in the Champion Dance Nattional Competition in Orlando, FL. They recieived 1st place in small team pom, 2nd place in small team luck. Destiny P. recieved 1st place for her solo in grades 9 & 10 and Megan W. recieved 9th place for her solo in 11 & 12 grades. Marissa, Shalura M, and Kayla A. received 2nd place for their trio. Emily D, Destiny P, and Jacqueline F. received 1st place for their trio. Congratulations.
Baseball District Win
The Baseball Team opened District with an 8-1 victory vs Chalmette. The Irish played an outstanding game. The next Baseball game is Thursday 6pm vs Bonnabel @ Bonnabel Stadium.
3 on 3 Tournament
Irish Eyes is hosting 3 on 3 basketball games! To register go to the court yard during lunch. Boys and girls from Grace King and other schools are welcome. Team parings are based on ability:<br />
Level 1- Amature
Level 2- Intermediate
Level 3- Advanced
Games will be held on March 23 3-6pm. Entry fee is $15 and includes a T-shirt. Admission is $3. We will also have door prizes, conessions and music!
